Sale

Preparations for our Nearly New Sale and Coffee Shop on Sat 16th February are going well and we are really looking forward to our first formal fundraising event. We hope to see you there!

Remember you can donate any items of new or nearly new quality to the school at any time for the sale.  You can also get rid of any old mobile phones, sat navs, tablet devices, MP3 players, digital cameras and handheld games consoles as we are collecting them for recycling purposes - just bring them to the school (with their associated cables if possible) and we will take them off your hands.

Bag packing

We are delighted to have confirmed our first bag packing fund raising venture at Morrisons supermarket in Greenock. It will be on Saturday 25th May - many thanks to Morrisons for their co-operation!

Just Giving

If you want to support our Rwanda Expedition, you can do so very easily by visiting our online Just Giving site: http://www.justgiving.com/cedarsschoolofexcellence . The site has the header "Struthers Memorial Church" for legal reasons as this is the charitable body that governs the school. All money raised through this will be going towards the Rwanda trip and the charity work out there.

Donations can also be given through JustTextGiving from UK mobile numbers by texting the code RWAN13 to the number 70070. Doing this generates an immediate text response asking you to choose an amount to donate which you then text back. A receipt is emailed to you.

Thank You!

We received our first sponsorship donations from companies today. Many thanks to Offrisk and Developing Leadership LTD. Our total raised from sponsorship, donations and fundraising has nearly reached £2500. It is a great start, thanks to everyone who has contributed so far!
